About
Bay-Area based. Handmade.
Potter Hyanghee Kim was born in Incheon, South Korea, and moved to Los Angeles with a young child, her husband, and mother-in-law in late 1993. Five years later, they followed the tech market to the Bay Area. There, she began fostering her interest in pottery and ceramics in 2007. Under the tutelage of Sue Kang, Kim began exploring different designs that best brought out colors and aesthetics of Korean cooking and cuisine.
Inspired by many of the simple and sophisticated designs of pottery and cooking-ware used for traditionally non-fancy dishes, Kim redefines such classic shapes and brings fun and quirky tips and suggestions to them.
We hope you enjoy the pieces as an elegant centerpiece for your cooking masterpieces.
